The work of the “Labās mājas” animal shelter is fully financed by donations from the public and supporters. If you would also like to give our paws a treat or something, we always need the following items:

  • high-quality dry food for dogs and cats available in pet stores (Royal Canin, Ontario, Animonda, Josera, Nuevo, Applaws, etc.);
  • high-quality canned food available in pet stores for cats (especially kittens) and dogs (especially puppies);
  • treats for cats and dogs;
  • fresh chicken (preferably whole chicken);
  • wood pellets for heating;
  • cementing sand for cat toilets;

There are also containers for the transfer of excess waste paper on the territory of the shelter. If your home or business accumulates waste paper, you can leave it in our containers. We will hand over the waste paper and invest the obtained funds in the work of the shelter.

Please do not bring mattresses, pillows and human clothing. We do not use them in the work of the shelter.
