Why do we need a monetary donation?
Unlike municipal shelters, where funding is provided for admitted animals for 14 days, in “Labās mājas” 90% of the animals must be maintained at their own expense from the moment of admission. However, “Labās mājas” has no “own funds”, only public support or donations.
Every animal in distress – lost, abandoned or injured in an accident – can receive help and shelter only because “Labās mājas” receives public support. Animal feeding, medical care, vaccination and sterilization are possible only with the help of donations. Any support allows the shelter to continue to care for those who need it most!
